Which versions of the EASA ECQB base are covered by Exam Aero?

Europe – Latest EASA Version (2025)
Our database is based on the most recent examination questions, in accordance with the EASA 2020 syllabus (Annex I to Decision ED 2018/001/R). It accurately reflects the content used in EASA Member States for current sessions.

🌍 Nationally specific versions
We also offer databases adapted to the PPL, CCA (Cabin Crew Attestation) and UAV DRONE (CATS) exams, designed to meet the specific requirements of each training area and local regulations.

✈️ Dedicated PPL Questions
A specific base has been developed for the preparation of the PPL (Private Pilot Licence), following a question-and-answer format. Although some questions may vary depending on the country, this base offers a reliable and realistic representation of the questions frequently found in official exams.

How big is the Exam Aero database for EASA exams?

The size of our database varies depending on the curriculum being prepared, with up to 18,000 questions available for some training courses, such as pilot training.
It is important to note that each national authority may use a specific—sometimes modified—version of the EASA question bank. This is why Exam Aero has developed an expanded database to ensure comprehensive and reliable coverage of the different variants used in the various countries applying EASA regulations.

Does Exam Aero include all the official exam questions?

Exam Aero’s goal is to provide a true and accurate representation of EASA’s ECQB database, both in terms of content and question wording.
While this database is not publicly available and is subject to regular updates, our team is constantly working to integrate new questions as soon as they are identified.
Therefore, some recently introduced questions may not appear in our system immediately, but rest assured that we are adding them as soon as possible to ensure optimal and up-to-date preparation.

Spotted an error in a question or answer?

Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Start by looking at the explanation associated with the question – it often helps clear up any doubts, especially for complex or trick questions.
  2. Read other users’ comments, if available. Sometimes there’s already a discussion about this type of case.
  3. If you still have any questions, please contact our support via the “Contact Support” button in the app or directly from our website.
  4. You can also write to us at contact@examaero.com mentioning the ID of the question concerned so that we can analyze it quickly.

🔎 Note: Some intentionally ambiguous wording is retained to accurately reflect the style of the questions as they appear in official EASA exams.

Almost immediately, as soon as payment is confirmed.

🔓 Automatic activation:
Your subscription is activated instantly, without any additional action on your part. You can start studying immediately.

How do I extend the validity of my current subscription?

Il vous suffit de souscrire un nouvel abonnement : sa durée viendra s’ajouter automatiquement à celle de votre abonnement en cours, sans aucune perte de données ni interruption de service.

I want to study on iPad, Windows computer, Android device, etc. – Is this possible?

Simply choose the subscription that matches the duration and content you want. All subscriptions are compatible with all available platforms (iOS, Android, Windows, web browsers, etc.).

📌 Important: An active subscription allows access to the system from only one device at a time. To ensure data security and integrity, simultaneous connections are automatically blocked by our system.

I am preparing for the ATPL, CCA, UAV DRONE, etc. exams – Which subscription should I choose?

All our subscriptions are designed to cover the specific requirements of the competent authorities, regardless of the type of certification being pursued.
All questions are carefully categorized by subject, sub-areas, and skill level, in full compliance with the Learning Objectives (LOs) currently defined by EASA.

Can I temporarily pause (freeze) the validity of my subscription?

❌ Unfortunately, this is not possible.
The validity period of a subscription begins upon activation and cannot be paused.

📌 If you anticipate a break in your studies, we recommend opting for a short-term subscription. You can then subscribe to a new one when it’s time to resume your studies.

  4. Check your email and follow the instructions received.

📩 Don’t forget to check your SPAM folder if you can’t find the message in your inbox.

Why am I automatically logged out of the system?
  1. The system performs an automatic logout after 30 minutes of inactivity, for two main reasons:
    1. 🔒 Security: Prevent someone else from accessing your account if you have left it open.
    2. 💾 Automatic save: in the event of an interruption (internet outage, reboot, etc.), your current test is saved, allowing you to resume it later.

⚠️ Important: This automatic disconnection is disabled during an active test, even if you remain more than 30 minutes without interacting, for example on the same question.

Can my account be used by multiple people?
    1. NO . Your account is strictly personal and reserved for individual use.
Sharing your login details is prohibited and may result in immediate suspension of your subscription.
How do I sync or transfer my saved tests?
    1. Saved tests are stored on only one device at a time. To transfer them to another device:
      1.  On the original device (e.g. iPad), open the app.
      2. From the home screen, tap the arrows icon.
      3. Enable the “Move saved test to cloud” option.
      4. On the new device (website, Android, etc.), start syncing and select “Retrieve saved test from cloud.”

🔁 This process allows you to easily transfer a test from one device to another, at any time.

My progress doesn't show 100%, even though I've seen all the questions, why?
    1. 📌 The system only considers a question “covered” if you’ve answered it correctly at least once.
Simply viewing it isn’t enough to validate it.
👉 To complete your progress, use the “Incorrectly answered questions” filter in Study mode and make sure you answer every remaining question correctly.
